Prineville Skatepark Improvement Project Brick Paver Program

The Crook County Leadership Cohort 3 received a $5,000 matching grant to support improvements at the Prineville Skate Park, located at Ochoco Creek Park. Phase I will include removing fencing and replacing the deteriorating surface at the skate park, making it safer for current skaters and attractive to new skaters. To access the matching funds, we first need to raise our part, $5,000.

In an exciting twist, Crook County Parks and Recreation plans to pursue additional government grants to potentially expand the park (once Phase I is complete). This is a result of the enormous amount of public interest in making Ochoco Creek Park a safe place for families and to provide opportunities for a wider range of skill levels.
