REMEMBER YOUR VETERAN WITH AN ENGRAVED BRICK IN OUR FIELD OF HONOR!

We are raising money to build a Veterans’ Memorial in Merrimac, to be located near the cemetery on Church Street. The Memorial will consist of two bronze statues, depicting a life-sized soldier kneeling in front of the boots, rifle, and helmet of a fallen comrade.

Behind the statues will be a granite memorial with the emblems of the military branches and, behind that, the Stars and Stripes and a POW/MIA flag. In front of the Memorial will be a Field of Honor paved with bricks inscribed with the names of veterans, whether living or deceased, Merrimac residents or not, or any other appropriate text that you specify (up to 3 lines of up to 20 characters each).

The cost of each brick that you purchase is $100, which is a fully tax-deductible contribution.

If you would like to make a donation, whether you buy bricks or not, you are welcome to.

Supporting this project will thank your veteran for his or her service in a public way. They deserve it!
