The Fort Duffield Heritage Committee (FDHC) is currently building a Memorial Plaza adjacent to the Pavilion in our parking lot. The area will contain a flag, a Memorial Granite Bench dedicated to our founders and a 12-foot X 16-foot area that will contain 1000 paver bricks that will be used as a fund-raiser by selling engraved Memorial bricks. As the Memorial Bricks are sold, they will replace the plain bricks used to initially build the site.
Fort Duffield Park and Historical Site is a significant resource available to the Hardin County Region. It is located at West Point in North Hardin County near the Jefferson County Line. The park and site are open year-round, daily and from daylight until dark.
We reach out to businesses and others from time to time with an opportunity to support our site.
We welcome donations and financial support to this unique public/private partnership.
